BSG (Biztech Sports Group) members decided to rejuvenate Biztech employees with a Chess tournament which was held at our premises. 48 chess players participated with a lot of enthusiasm. Well, this active participation was quite predictable as we Biztechians can be real brain churners!
To kick start the tournament, participants were grouped in four sets for the Round 1. Games were made of 15 minutes each. It was a treat to watch players taking part with a lot of sportsman spirit. The round 2 started between the winners from the last round. The game also got a bit challenging and monotonous when there was a draw and the participants had no choice but to exit the round 1.
After the quarter and semi-final rounds, the winner of finals was declared. It was a second win for “Mayur Gajra” who won last year as well! A Game of Chess enables employees to interact more with each other and can enhance their cognitive abilities. What games do you play to burst your work stress? Feel free to share with us!
